Deadlock 1 GOG MP Patch
Disclaimer: No Warranty. Use at your own risk. Since you have been asking for it, I have been trying to create a patch for the Deadlock 1 GOG version that allows multiplayer games. This is my best result so far, unfortunately it's lacking background sound and music, I still do not know how to solve...

Re: Win: Deadlock 1 Multiplayer
Has any of this information changed in regards to the windows 7 32 bit layout and the advent of the game now being available for download on GOG.COM? Deadlock 1 from GOG doesn't officially support multiplayer. Deadlock 1 needs NetBIOS, it seems to only work over IPX (network protocol) using Windows...

Re: Can Deadlock 2 shrine wars run on mac osx?
Deadlock II has no MacOS(X) version, I don't know if you can run it without Windows on a new MacOS. Under Wine for Linux, it runs when not updated, but it gets a bit glitchy. After you update DL2, (or use the GOG version, which comes updated) it gets much more glitchy in a way you cannot play. There...

Re: Deadlock II on Hamachi??
Create two virtual machines using virtual box (or one and then clone it). Set a static IP address to each one. I recommend starting from NAT networking mode (Virtual Box VM configuration), use ipconfig to fetch the details and then set it as static configuration. For example, the default IP address ...

Re: OpenDeadlock: The Open Requests Survey
I would like to thank for the replies/responses.
I'm going to need to leave it online for longer since we don't have enough statistically yet. If it takes too long, we are going to need to discuss more about the features instead of using the survey that allows voting.

Colony Leader Title Abbreviations
I would like to know if there are any "standards" for abbreviating the colony leader titles.

Maug Chief (MC.?)
Overseer (Os.?)
Ubergeneral (Ug.?)

HI and MC look so bad...
Thanks in advance.

Re: Naming units
DL1 has diplomacy, you can message the AI with several types of messages to make it more enemy of less enemy, you simply cannot create an official alliance.
I have got both at once in the launch promo but I already had DL1.

Re: Need better combat results report
Yes, this has been an old criticism from me; Also, it's common to DL1, I have told Ug-Grunt earlier that DLs really need more statistics. We need a view that shows what has changed in numbers, I even miss some report on the population growth, production and building numbers, not only units after the...

Re: What are the differences between DL1 & DL2?
My opinion: I believe it's because DL2 has messed with some good qualities of DL1: 1- DL2 has fixed resolution while DL1 can run at high resolutions (probably the biggest point); 2- The advisors were more polite in DL1, while they are sometimes very annoying in DL2; 3- Videos look more smooth in DL1...
