Re: Does anyone know about networking?
Hello MildewMan1 , Sorry, I have been busy, but here are my suggestions for you. First of all, great idea, I really hope you succeed in your plans. It is very interesting that I have been trying to "decode" the rest of Deadlock, not the networking. Each DLNET is loaded according to the OS,...

Re: HOW TO: Fix issues with crashing and freezing
Thanks for your testing, it seems good enough already! I figured out that the patched version didn't retain the compatibility settings. Please forgive me! it has been discovered before, I guess I should have told you about compatibility settings. I tried to make a multiplayer game with myself using ...

Re: HOW TO: Fix issues with crashing and freezing
Best of Luck! Right now I'm working on deciphering how the racial traits work. if you wish some help about that, check this thread . Once the game is created, a column from that bidimensional array is copied to the abilities array of the player. You could edit any of them if you wish. I also am plan...

Re: HOW TO: Fix issues with crashing and freezing
I don't know everything that GOG changed in their version, but I don't believe that it has the crashing problems. This is more for the original 1996 CD version of the game. I own both, and I only have issues with the original version. That's great MildewMan1, since you have the GOG version as well,...

Re: HOW TO: Fix issues with crashing and freezing
Hello MildewMan1, Welcome and many thanks for your contributions! I will let more people know once they have similar questions. In the past we would simply share the required DLLs. Fortunately, Deadlock 1 runs fine with older Windows versions and it also runs fine under WINE (for Linuxes and MacOSX)...

Get Well Soon
Hello, I would like to remind you that I often write something funny (while some may disagree) for the April's Fools.
However, it seems like people are way too sensitive for these things this time.
Therefore, I sincerely hope you all get well soon.
Best wishes!

Re: Siege Cruisers
I think strategies don't always have patterns to serve a single specific purpose, however, I could use them in an attempt to: Keep firing at a neighbouring territory of an enemy. The missiles are not very powerful, but they are enough to kill the first colonists after the territory is first settled,...
