Maybe if you encapsulated the library calls in the DLNET32.DLL it would be possible to pass the IPX commands through to TCP/IP ones, similar to what you did with the WAIL32.DLL. I don't know much about network programming, I only did it at a very basic level in my Computer Science degree. But maybe ...

Their purpose seems to be to fire missiles at territories who are out or range from your territories when firing regular missiles from them.

Sounds like a bug then, if enemy mines exist in your territory.

Once you take over a territory and they remain enemy mines, can you not click on the mine icon in the world view to blow them away?

They are actually two completely different games as far as I can tell. I don't even think that they are built off of the same engine. They should have just improved on the original and added on a campaign. Matthew Ford confirmed to me when I met him that Deadlock II was based on Deadlock I's source...

I find the ChCh't's tech penalty a massive pain. The lower level techs take too long to research, as it is not necessarily possible to have multiple labs running to research each of the first and second level techs in one turn. I also like to have five Collective Tech Labs running at full production...
