Re: Fix for black screen on Windows 8/Windows 10 for Deadloc
hello, as i mentioned in another thread, a friend of mine had issues with windows 10. we tried together what explained above, but it seems it had no effect whatsoever. chances are 2: 1) it fixes a different problem than one of my friend (graphic glitches for the multiplayer IP mask input) 2) my frie...

Re: Artillery disappearing
hello, i think it's because in deadlock 1 there is a unit stack limit per territory, so the game deletes every unit not allowed to that territory. meh... i think this is a great limitation of deadlock 1. don't want to push it but...deadlock 2 solved this. also, the troops enter the territory from th...

Re: hamachi network for multiplayer games NOW
oh well, why wouldn't the server keep the autosave file also? it would be used as backup in case of crash or similar. and will contribute to the anti-cheat system. perhaps it may be on several layers of action.
anyway, we are +1:00 from greenwich...how you call it...UTC

Re: hamachi network for multiplayer games NOW
for the anti cheat system, i'd say to imitate Heroes of Might and Magic 3: the game compares the autosave from the players of the previous turn to the current one. then displays a message that someone is cheating. "someone" literally. recently we had none of this problems of forever-hangin...

Re: hamachi network for multiplayer games NOW
of course it worked! there was just one annoying bug issue( * ), and anyways i'm going to explain it extensively over here: so, good news that you think that 1 host present in 2 hamachi networks can bridge between them. never tried, actually never played with more than 1 human opponent. we should de...

Re: Deadlock II on Hamachi??
yes, i propose to have a group online, like a facebook page.
this will suffice to gather players with the specific aim of playing online, and display who is online, or new messages asking for games.
i can open it as soon as somebody agrees with it...

Re: What are the differences between DL1 & DL2?
Tggtt has a very objective opinion, but his point of view is more set on the technical features of the software, as you can see from the points he lists, and with which i certainly agree! Myself, whose these technical aspects are a bit obscure, prefer to focus on gameplay aspects. First, let me argu...
