Hey guys,
I know there are a tonne of issues with vista and 7, but I have had DL 1 multiplayer running on vista before and last night went to try a LAN and it would not pick up any games. Moved onto the other XP machine and it was fine.
Does anyone have any ideas what I may have done to get multi working in vista?

so you say you CAN actually play multiplayer from within the virtual machine??
i had the same problem too...to run DL2 had to install it in virtual machine (also because installer couldnt run on win7). the result was a fully working deadlock, but windowed. and with a graphic issue when sliding technology tree.
i managed to workaround that issue an was able to play normally, just in a damn small window.
despite the fact i am always trustful to solve these problems, the only one which i really care is multiplayer from the virtual machine.
tell me what to do, and i'll do it!
