People are so angry these days.
So, please tell me...
What is the leading cause of Riots in your colonies?
What is the leading cause of Riots?
Re: What is the leading cause of Riots?
The only time I ever have riots are Skirineen scandals or Re'Lu subversion. I only play the original deadlock

In some past games, I've had riots so bad I scrapped the territory - but it's a bug.
The best illustration is the first Deadlock II scenario involving the Tarth, Human, Ch'Cht and Cyth. Note specifically no Re'lu.
When I capture Human Landing and fill it with my colonists, severe riots begin a few turns later - and get worse. I've seen -80 morale before because it keeps plunging and won't stop. If you address morale... it returns. There's no Re'lu spies on the map, so they can't be causing it.
I believe it is somehow tied to the landing territory of another race. When I take it over, I can trigger this morale collapse. But I have even scrapped an entire territory, started over, and I still get severe riots that won't end. I don't recall if this happens every time, as I don't often take over opponent's Landing territories. It may also happen in the first Deadlock game, but it has been too long for me to be certain.
So that's my #1 source of riots: a game bug involving enemy starting territory, which I take over.

Ditto. That's pretty much the sole source of riots for me. FYI it's a deadlock 2 exclusive bug that never happens on D1. And sometimes if you take over a non landing territory and later attack the landing, the non landing territory gets hit with the morale free fall bug. Sometimes if you let the morale drop to zero it gets reset and climbs back up normally but most of the time it goes to zero and then the free fall starts over from ~70 morale making me wonder if it's some kind of overflow bug. More annoying than the unit repair crash since in that case there's at least a workaround if you move the units in batches to other territories before moving back just the units that need repair.
Can't believe they didn't bother to fix two game breaking bugs in the updates.
