Deadlock's Soundtrack

Post by Ubergeneral Grunt »

A select number of tracks from Deadlock’s soundtrack, is now available here. Chip Harris, who composed the soundtrack, kindly sent these tracks to me a few months back. The tracks are higher quality than the ones included in any version of the game. Unfortunately, the tracks included here are all the tracks I could get a hold of at this time, but I am still pleased that these gems turned up. I am hoping to give the site a major update by early next month, so stay tuned.

Is the link still working? I tried to unpack the zip file but it returns errors on every program I tried.

Hello nelsonspbr, welcome to GalliusVI!

I think you are right. I have tried the link and it seems to be truncated.

In any case, only the file "39_-_The_Deadlock_Song.aif" is damaged, the others are working fine.

What app do you use that can read a truncated zip file?

Usually 7-zip.

Hello Firetron,

Were you the chap that emailed me in December? Sorry for not getting back to you, as I was away for Christmas at the time.

I think Mac OS X’s built-in ZIP compressor that I used to make the archive over a decade ago might be the culprit, as I think it might have done some non-standard things. Let me know if 7-zip gets the other files at least. The Deadlock song comes with all versions of the game, so that corrupted file shouldn’t be too hard to sort out.

Yes, 7zip was able to get it open. But you really should repost the file. 7zip is only for Windows and all other apps can't open the broken zips. And yes I believe I emailed you about it in December.
