Guys,

A friend of mine who has played a lot of deadlock 2, I have not, mentioned that chch-t have a penalty to food production (mentioned in deadlock 2) and that this was present in deadlock 1. Is this true?

I've not really played deadlock II, but I have played extensivly on deadlock I, and have never noticed any type of food penalty to any race. The Chch't do grow their population the quickest, so they will consume more food over time than other races. It could be that you friend was having a hard time keeping food production up, so he assumed there was some sort of penalty.
