More love for the Maug. But more for personality than exploitable strengths.
But honourable mentions to Ch'Cht and Uva Mosk.

Gonna have to be Cyth; they're just so delightfully evil. Also I like the fact that you don't have to worry about morale with them. I miss the days of Deadlock 1 when you could starve the Cyth and no ill would come of it.
I also like the Skirineen, but the Cyth are the winners.

I think the Cyth are the easiest race to play, at least in Deadlock 1. Lack of food was what really brought down a colony with fast production turned off. The population would simply grow too fast, so you had to limit its growth. With the Cyth, this, of course, wasn't a problem. Games at 100% difficulty are really easy to win with the Cyth.

Beware the Cyth, my children.
They do not need to eat or sleep, and care not how much they are overworked, overtaxed and overpopulated. Thank goodness there'll always be some who never want to contribute to society or they'd make the best workers and soldiers.
Besides, if civilians are dying off from the lack of food, why not just continue cloning everybody? Sure, they'll be short-lived workers, but that's more or less how the ChCh't work.

There's no cloning in Deadlock I. I've never actually tried using it in Deadlock II. Its affect on morale always made me think twice about using it.Occifer Dibble wrote:Besides, if civilians are dying off from the lack of food, why not just continue cloning everybody?
